The Oshkosh^® SandCat™ Mine-Protected Light Patrol Vehicle (M-LPV) delivers heavy-duty protection in a light tactical vehicle – perfect for special operations, security duties and surveillance patrols. It has a compact profile that offers superior off-road performance, allowing it to move swiftly, easily and carry up to four passengers with an option for two more. Specifically designed to protect occupants against mine attacks, IEDs, standard ammunition threats and armor piercing (AP) bullets, it incorporates a Blast Management System for optimal protection. The armor is integrated right into the vehicle’s design, so the cabin size and structure are optimized and protection is maximized – all while maintaining a lower weight.
