The high-speed, highly-protected, highly-maneuverable Oshkosh^® SandCat™ protected multi-role vehicle is a light tactical vehicle that allows for the swift and efficient conduct of urban operations and security missions. It can play whatever role a jurisdiction needs, including military, homeland defense, global war on terror, special operations, disaster aid and peace-keeping missions. Specifically designed to protect occupants against mine attacks, IEDs, standard ammunition threats and armor piercing (AP) bullets, the SandCat vehicle incorporates a Blast Management System for ultimate protection. Armor adaptations can be made based on relevant threat levels and enhanced on demand.
