
The People Behind the Oshkosh JLTV
John Bryant – President
John Bryant has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 11 years. Before joining Oshkosh, John spent 28 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring as a Colonel. To say that John takes his work at Oshkosh personally would be an understatement.
Merton S. – General Assembler
Merton has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 5 years. As an Assembler, he is responsible for building the world’s most advanced, capable light tactical vehicle, the JLTV. Merton also served 9 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, so he understands the importance of the JLTV and its mission.
Alex H. – Director, Marketing and Communications
Alex has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 10 years, 8 of which she’s been working on the JLTV program. As the Director of Marketing and Communications, Alex leads the advertising, public relations, and other communication efforts for the JLTV. Alex is also the proud wife of a U.S. Army Soldier.
George Mansfield – Vice President and General Manager of Joint Programs
George has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 37 years. As the Vice President and General Manager of Joint Programs, George leads the JLTV program team and works collaboratively with the customer.
Nate G. – Sr. Plant Manager
Nate has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 15 years. As a Sr. Plant Manager, Nate is responsible for establishing and sustaining the highest quality production and test processes and procedures.
Rebecca V. – Director, Proposal Management
Rebecca has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 10 years. As the Director of Proposal Management, Rebecca works closely with the cross-functional teams that support the JLTV program to develop proposals for the U.S. Government to evaluate.
Kent S. – Director, Engineering – JLTV
Kent has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 20 years, 14 of which he’s worked on the JLTV, including the initial design! As the Director of Engineering, Kent works to ensure the JLTV meets or exceeds all the customer’s requirements and the end-users mission needs. With Kent’s immense knowledge of the JLTV design, he can guide the team on design updates that would ultimately benefit the end-user.
Scott B. – Sr. Director, Program Management – JLTV
Scott has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 15 years. Prior to his time with Oshkosh, Scott served 23 years in the U.S. Navy. As the Sr. Director of Program Management, Scott guides the JLTV strategy and program objectives. With his extensive experience, Scott leverages lessons learned to continue building the world’s best light tactical wheeled vehicle and seamlessly support fielding and sustainment – now and in the future.
John H. – General Assembler
John has been with Oshkosh for over 5 years. As an Assembler, John is responsible for physically manufacturing the world-class JLTV. John also served 14 years in the U.S. Military, so he understands the importance of the JLTV and its mission.
Jason F. – Sr. Service Manager
Jason has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 15 years. Prior to his time with Oshkosh, Jason served in the U.S. Army.
As the Sr. Service Manager, Jason leads the Total Package Fielding (TPF) and Field Service Representative (FSR) teams. Jason’s team of over 300 is often embedded with military units worldwide to provide continued maintenance and operational support.
Mary F. – Director, Finance
Mary has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 14 years. As the Director of Finance, Mary oversees the pricing efforts for the current contract and follow-on proposal. With her extensive experience in Defense contract pricing, Mary has been instrumental in developing the Firmed Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) proposals that align with the customers’ requirements. Her team has submitted over 2,000 price proposals in the past decade alone.
Corey K. – Director, Contracts
Corey has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 12 years, 10 of which have been with the JLTV program. As the Director of Contracts, Corey works with the customer to administer JLTV contract requirements. Corey has extensive experience delivering on military vehicle contracts, contracting processes, and rules/requirements. Over the past 10 years, he’s worked closely with the JLTV customer to react to and implement any contracts modifications.
Matt S. – Director, Program Management – JLTV
Matt has been with Oshkosh Defense for over 17 years, 13 of which he’s been on the JLTV program. Matt supports the JLTV through design, test, operations, and most recently program management. As the Director of Program Management, Matt works cross-functionally to ensure the program runs on time and on budget.
