Evolving With Lessons Learned On The Battlefield.
Oshkosh Defense® HEMTT A4 M1120A4 Load Handling System (LHS).
Built to stand up to the rapidly evolving challenges in the operational environment, the Oshkosh® HEMTT A4 LHS offers the versatility and power to assure mission success. It moves equipment, ammunition and supplies on demountable cargo beds wherever the mission demands with enough power to transport an 11-ton (9979 kg) payload in addition to an 11-ton (9979 kg) payload trailer. - Containerized roll-in-roll-out platform (CROP) allows for cargo hauling
- 500 horsepower Caterpillar® C15 engine offers 55 more horsepower than its predecessor, the HEMTT A2
- Allison® 4500 SP/5-speed automatic transmission, rated for 600 horsepower, offers 1,750 lbs.-ft. (2373 N-m) of gross input torque
