John Blossom is the vice president of digital technology for Oshkosh Defense. He is responsible for all systems and information security of this business segment. Within Oshkosh Corporation, Blossom has also held leadership positions in shared services and corporate infrastructure.
Blossom joined Oshkosh Corporation in November 2003 as director of information technology. He has held various positions of responsibility and was promoted to his current position in May 2007.
Prior to joining Oshkosh, Blossom was the director of information technology in the automotive finishes division of Sherwin-Williams Corporation and manager of both global engineering systems and worldwide sourcing systems at General Electric Company.
Blossom holds a master’s degree in business administration from Cleveland State University, a bachelor’s degree in economics and computer science from John Carroll University, and is a certified project management professional.
