OSHKOSH DEFENSE EXHIBITS LEADING-EDGE TECHNOLOGIES AT AUSA GFS 2023

Oshkosh Defense Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV)

HUNTSVILLE, AL. (March 28, 2023) — Oshkosh Defense LLC, an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK) company, is exhibiting at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Global Force Symposium (GFS) 2023 in Huntsville, AL. from March 28-30. On display will be two Robotic Combat Vehicles (RCV) demonstrating leading-edging technologies in autonomy, teleoperation, and weapon system integration.

With a hybrid-electric powertrain, the RCV is capable of silent watch, silent mobility and providing exportable power capability. The tracked, autonomous vehicles are designed to support varying payloads and advance weapon systems.

The first RCV on display is equipped with the Kongsberg CROWS-J with an M2 .50 caliber machine gun and the Hoverfly Tethered Unmanned Aerial System (TeUAS). Illustrating the platform’s adaptability, the second RCV is outfitted with a Kongsberg RS6 Remote Weapon Station equipped with an XM913 30x113mm cannon. An AeroVironment Switchblade 300 Loitering munitions/UAS Launcher system and L3 SOM Smoke Obscuration Module will also be featured on the vehicle.
