Oshkosh Defense to Sponsor Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl in Support of Armed Forces Foundation Fundraising Sweepstakes

OSHKOSH, Wis. — Dec. 29, 2009 — Oshkosh Defense, a division of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK), announced today it is sponsoring the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl on Dec. 31 in Fort Worth, Texas, in support of the Rumble With a Cause sweepstakes benefiting the Armed Forces Foundation. Visitors and game attendees will have an opportunity to donate and enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win one of two custom-painted Harley Davidson® Fat Boy® motorcycles. No donation or purchase is necessary to enter the sweepstakes and winners must meet eligibility requirements.

In addition, the Oshkosh® Mine Resistant, Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicle (M-ATV), which is a new vehicle to protect the U.S. Armed Forces serving in Afghanistan, will be on display outside the stadium.

The custom-painted, Army-themed motorcycle, one of two bikes Oshkosh Defense donated for the sweepstakes, also will be on display at the event. With a goal of raising $150,000, the Rumble With a Cause sweepstakes supports the Armed Forces Foundation and its mission of providing assistance to active and retired U.S. military members and their families. The sweepstakes was launched in October and runs through April 15, 2010.

“The Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate the men and women in the military while enjoying a first-rate college football game. Sponsoring the game and bringing to it our support for the Rumble With a Cause sweepstakes is a natural fit for the sweepstakes and the audiences who will be very supportive of this program,” said Andy Hove, Oshkosh Corporation executive vice president and president, Defense. “We look forward to building on the momentum that this sweepstakes has generated and further supporting the tremendous services provided by the Armed Forces Foundation.”

The Armed Forces Foundation supports military members and their families through assistance such as counseling, living expenses, funeral arrangements, housing improvements, career counseling and transitioning back to civilian life.

No donation or purchase is necessary to enter. Those not able to attend the game may enter online at www.rumblewithacause.org. Individuals will receive one entry for each $10 donation made up to a total of $200 or 20 entries.
