OSHKOSH, WIS. (September 2, 2004) — Oshkosh Truck Corporation [NYSE: OSK] announced today that it has developed a proprietary line of high-performance snow plows for airports. The Oshkosh line of plows has been designed and engineered by Oshkosh to move snow along the face of the plow more efficiently.
“We have more than 1,500 H-Series and P-Series trucks in service at airports worldwide, and our reputation for toughness and reliability is second to none. It was a logical choice to develop our own plows. They are the only ones tough enough to carry the Oshkosh name and are a perfect match for our line of snow removal vehicles,” said Mike Crowe, Vice President of Airport / Municipal Products at Oshkosh Truck.
The new Oshkosh® plow line features a wide array of sizes and styles, including straight “J” and flare types for high efficiency casting. The plows will be manufactured by M-B Companies of New Holstein, Wis., and will be sold and serviced by Oshkosh and its dealers.
