The Oshkosh® Defense Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV) is designed to be remotely operated by troops to serve as a scout and escort for manned combat vehicles.
In August 2023, Oshkosh Defense was awarded Phase I of the United States Army’s Request for Prototype Proposal (RPP) for the Platform Prototype Design & Build phase of the Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV) program.
RCVs can facilitate multi-domain strikes, act as a decoy, maneuver to advantageous positions without exposing military personnel to direct or indirect fire, and secure a perimeter.
The Oshkosh RCV includes capabilities such as electronic warfare and counter-unmanned aerial systems at the platoon level, helping troops at all phases of the mission — including compete, penetrate, disintegrate, exploit, and recompete.

AUTONOMY:
The Oshkosh RCV offers a full-autonomous, mission-dictated control and equipped mounted and dismounted control stations.
LETHALITY:
With a variety of configuration kits, RCVs can be equipped with autonomous and remote weapons, ranging from small arms to large caliber cannons.
MOBILITY:
Without human operators on board, RCVs can aggressively maneuver to a variety of positions without endangering lives.
