WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals who value craftsmanship and teamwork. While each open role may have specific requirements, most of our positions include:

  • Welding certification, technical training or relevant experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols and measurement tools
  • Willingness to learn, adapt and work in a dynamic environment

SHIFT DETAILS

  • 1ST SHIFT: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • 2ND SHIFT:  2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • 3RD SHIFT:  10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

Please note: These hours reflect our general core hours, but start and end times vary based on overtime needs. 

THE IMPACT YOU'LL HAVE

As a welder at Oshkosh Defense, you’ll bring together skill, precision and teamwork to help assemble and weld critical vehicle components, contributing directly to the safety and success of those who serve. Every weld matters.

  • Weld and assemble ferrous and nonferrous materials to spec
  • Read blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accuracy and safety
  • Inspect, clean and prepare welds to meet strict quality standards
