The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) provides support to military families who have experienced the profound loss of a loved one in service to our nation. Oshkosh Defense fundraises to help TAPS provide survivors with the care, resources, and community to navigate their grief. Our team takes part in community-hosted runs in honor of fallen soldiers annually at the Army Ten Miler event.

Move United Sport’s mission is to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities through the power of sports. Oshkosh Defense has raised funds for Move United Sport since 2011 to help each person unlock their full potential and foster inclusivity by providing opportunities for people of all abilities to thrive.

The Fisher House Foundation / Fisher House Wisconsin provides vital support to military and veteran families during times of medical crisis. Through Oshkosh Defense’s support since 2012, they’ve helped create a welcoming home away from home for families, allowing them to stay together and find comfort and support while their loved ones receive critical medical care.

The Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) supports the educational well-being of military-connected children. They understand the unique challenges these students face due to frequent relocations and the demands of military life. Through the partnership with Oshkosh Defense since 2011, MCEC is able to provide resources, training, and programs that empower schools, educators, and parents in fostering a nurturing learning environment for military children.

Old Glory Honor Flight’s mission is to honor and express gratitude to military veterans. They provide transformative journeys for veterans, allowing them to visit the memorials in Washington, D.C., that stand in tribute to their courage and dedication. Oshkosh Defense’s partnership since 2011 has helped to send more deserving veterans to D.C. to get the recognition and welcome home they truly deserve. Each year, Oshkosh Defense team members serve as guardians on a flight.

USO Wisconsin commits to supporting and uplifting the lives of our service members and their families. Oshkosh Defense’s support since 2011 of USO Wisconsin helps them enhance our service members’ quality of life, boost morale, and provide a sense of community.

United Through Reading is an organization dedicated to fostering connections and strengthening the bond between deployed military personnel and their families. Their innovative program enables deployed service members to record videos of themselves reading stories to their children or loved ones back home. Oshkosh Defense has provided support since 2018 to help United Through Reading connect more families with their deployed loved ones.

Tuesday’s Children is a remarkable nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by terrorism. They provide long-term healing, support, and resilience to those directly affected by these tragedies. Oshkosh Defense team members have been volunteering at local Tuesday’s Children events since 2020 to further their mission.

The National Guard Educational Foundation’s (NGEF) goal is to tell the Guard’s story and relies solely on charitable donations to carry out its mission. The purpose of NGEF is to achieve an awareness of the rich heritage and continuing contributions of the National Guard of the United States through a rich programmatic portfolio.
