Oshkosh Defense Honors Service Members with Green Bay Packers Salute To Service Partnership

OSHKOSH, Wis., (November 6, 2017) Oshkosh Defense, LLC, an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK) company headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is proud to announce its partnership with the Green Bay Packers and involvement around the Salute to Service game, occurring Monday, November 6, against Detroit.

As part of the partnership, Oshkosh Defense is providing a vehicle display in the Oneida Street Parking Lot of Lambeau Field, next to the Johnsonville Tailgate Village. The display will feature the Oshkosh Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) and a charitable signature campaign benefitting the Old Glory Honor Flight.

“Oshkosh Defense’s Salute to Service partnership highlights Oshkosh’s commitment to the men and women who have served or are currently serving the United States military, while also supporting a very important local charity, the Old Glory Honor Flight,” said John Bryant, President of Oshkosh Defense and Senior Vice President of Oshkosh Corporation. “Hundreds of Oshkosh employees have served or are currently serving in the military, and thousands have family members or friends who have served. Oshkosh Defense is fiercely committed to supporting those who serve their country, whenever and wherever they are called. The Salute to Service partnership is a small way for us to show our commitment and our appreciation.”

Oshkosh Defense has a long-standing history of charitable giving and support for programs that assist members of the armed forces and their families.

The Old Glory Honor Flight offers local World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam veterans a memorable, safe and rewarding tour of Washington, D.C. to see the memorials built in their honor. All Old Glory Honor Flights are provided at no cost to the veterans. Oshkosh will have a display at Lambeau Field and will be collecting signatures from game day attendees. With each signature received, Oshkosh will donate $10.00 to the Old Glory Honor Flight up to the goal of $1,500.
