Oshkosh Defense to Feature Highly Protected and Transportable JLTV Vehicles at AUSA Global Force Symposium

JLTVs Showcase Unmatched Protection, Transportability, Mobility and Network Capability

OSHKOSH, Wis. (March 26, 2018) – Oshkosh Defense, LLC, an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK) company, will display two Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV) at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Global Force Symposium in Huntsville, Ala. on March 26-28, 2018.

According to George Mansfield, Vice President and General Manager of Joint Programs for Oshkosh Defense, “the Oshkosh JLTV is the first light tactical vehicle to provide superior off-road mobility and MRAP levels of protection in a highly transportable package.”

On display at AUSA will be a representation of a single-point sling helicopter lift underneath a Boeing CH-47, demonstrating how this highly-transportable platform can perform missions “outside the wire” while still maintaining increased levels of protection and performance on a lightweight platform.

“The JLTV was also designed to be scalable, allowing necessary mission equipment and kits to be quickly installed or uninstalled at field level as the environments change,” continued Mansfield. “The JLTV can accommodate over 100 different mission package configurations serving missions from hostile and high threat operations to patrol and peacekeeping operations Ð a true testament to its modularity and adaptability.”

Also on display will be a JLTV that features the Kongsberg M153A2-E1 Low Profile PROTECTOR Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS), which demonstrates the ability of the JLTV platform to accommodate a wide range of mission equipment and weapon systems as required by the customer.

Oshkosh Defense leadership will be available to discuss the Oshkosh JLTV Family of Vehicles, and the Company’s full portfolio of vehicles, technologies, integration capabilities and aftermarket solutions at booth #1315. For more information, please contact Alexandra Hittle, Sr. Manager, Global Branding and Communications at [email protected].
